The third General Election of WolvHaven was held from 13 to 15 October 2017 to form the [[House of Representatives of WolvHaven|House of Representatives]] (HOR) of the [[Parliament of WolvHaven/8th|8th]] [[Parliament of WolvHaven]].

The election was the first with the new extended parliament terms. This meant that parliamentary terms were to be extended to 6 months instead of 3 and gave the senate the power to call for a snap election after 3 months from the time of the previous election in the event where the current government had a low approval rating.

==Election Results==

Due to the way the vote turned out, 3 overhang seats were added to Parliament, requiring 10 seats for a majority. However, as the {{Parties/DEM}} did not have a 3rd candidate, the 3rd seat won by Democratiam was left vacant, effectively requiring 9 seats for a majority.

This election was also the first that required the addition of overhang seats as the number of seats is always rounded up. This resulted in 3 additional overhang seats to the parliament of WolvHaven, making the total number of seats 18.
