The roads in Newgate were designed by the british to drive on the left. As a result, the whole country and it's administrative regions do too.
History
The earliest known evidence of roads constructed in newgate are Middle Road, which was just a quaint dirt path along the path of today's Middle Road, Capital Street, known as Capitol Street when it was first constructed, and Central Street. Roads were usually either gravel or dirt paths.
In the 1960's, the government decided to invest in the construction of the Fairway Expressway, which marked the beginning of Newgate's highway expansion. Soon, other roads began construction, such as the Central Region Expressway, and the Carnhill Expressway, the H2.
The E2, the connecting expressway between Northlands City and Newgate, was constructed alongside the H2, which connected to the Calidia National Route 3 serving the east of Calidia.
