New Centrif began development in 2011, when WolvHaven was founded.

New Centrif began development in 2011, when WolvHaven was founded in Minecraft beta 1.6.5. The world consisted of a single naturally generated island that was approximately 100 blocks by 100 blocks. Other players also formed satelitte settlements around the world.

Buildings in the world were very basic, as creative mode did not exist prior to the Adventure Update (Beta 1.8). Hence, the buildings were constructed mostly in survival, with materials supplied using the /give command.
