WolvHaven City, abbreviated as WH, is the Heart of WolvHaven, where most things happen. The current Wolvhaven City is the forth Wolvhaven City the server has ever had.
This world is the default spawn world, and the only world Tourists are allowed to be at. They will spawn at MechanicsBurg international Airport when they first join the server. There, they can take the citizen test or go straight to City Exploration
History
Since the opening of the server, there have been 4 worlds existed. The current world is New WolvHaven also known as Fourth Haven. Currently, the Fifth World is work in progress.
First Haven - New Centrif (2011)
Main article: New Centrif (1st Haven)
New Centrif began development in 2011, when WolvHaven was founded in Minecraft beta 1.6.5. The world consisted of a single naturally generated island that was approximately 100 blocks by 100 blocks. Other players also formed satelitte settlements around the world.
Buildings in the world were very basic, as creative mode did not exist prior to the Adventure Update (Beta 1.8). Hence, the buildings were constructed mostly in survival, with materials supplied using the /give command.
Second Haven - Wolv City (2012)

WolvCity began development in 2012, when WolvHaven shifted to become more like a Survival Multiplayer (SMP) server. Players would explore the outskirts and source for resources outside of the city; but within the same world, and sell their resources in the city itself.
This proved to be very messy, and as a result the server's first SMP world - Vanilla Plains was opened.
Third Haven - NewHaven (2013 - 2014)

Due to the mess that was created from the shared-SMP & city world format, a lack of space in Wolv City, and design issues that hindered further development, a the third iteration of the city was created.
NewHaven began development in late-2012 and opened in 2013, when Wolv City was decommissioned and the server went public.
Fourth Haven - New WolvHaven (2014 - 2023)

New Wolvhaven began development in late 2013 and replaced 3rd Haven in 2014. The reasoning for the replacement of the world was a lack of space in the world, and the desire for the development of a more historical town centre instead of just modern architecture.
NewWolvHaven is the first iteration of the city where there were more than 1 islands which main development would happen. The 4 islands are WolfMinister, Westford, Mechanicsburg and Airport Island
Fifth Haven - New Wolfminster (2023 - Current)

As the server grew, problems with Fourth Haven started surfacing. Namely, the lack of space for an airport in the city, and other design issues that would require the whole city to be rebuilt to rectify. A proposal to add a 5th "Mainland" island to the East of Fourth Haven was proposed in 2016, and preferred; but was rejected eventually as there were many challenges with integrating it with the rest of the city.
The server's building standards also changed over the years, requiring more space to implement.
FifthHaven began development since mid-2018, but is scheduled to open in 2023. This is due to the size and scale of the new city. One of the smaller islands of the new 14 island archipelogo is equivalent to the size of Fourth Haven's main island.
