The WolvHaven Metro is a rapid transit system serving WolvHaven, covering almost every square kilometre of the city. The entire system comprises of 11 metro lines serving all 3 boroughs of the city. The first section of the Metro opened during the second quarter of 2014, and was comprised of 4 stations: Palais De Royal, City Hall, Republic, and Nation. However, with the increasing demand for public transportation and the lack of other forms of transportation, the WolvHaven Metro has expanded to 11 Metro Lines, 41 Metro Stations, and coverage on all four islands of the WolvHaven City.
The metro lines are built by the many talented architects of WolvHaven, and are overseen by the Department of Transportation, a major department of the WolvHaven Government, which also allocates operating concessions to many rail operators and/or corporations such as lorem ipsum corporation, Sakana Heavy Industrial Transit, RegioLinQ, and more. These operators maintain the train lines, pay the train drivers that drive on said lines, and may also run bus services or other rail services such as BERT, which complement the train system.
History
With the retirement of NewHaven, the third incarnation of WolvHaven, some time during the November of 2013, city planners brought up the need to have a rail-based urban transport system to help players get around the city. At the point of time, Axton was also hoping to develop the city's rail network.
Difference in Ideology and the Birth of BERT
SilverWolv wanted to shift away from building only modern-based metro networks, as seen in the past iterations of the city where most of the infrastructure was relatively simple, with little or no additional architectural value. He wanted the newly created rail network to feature multiple architectural styles across different periods of time, with references to the ornate, grand, and decorated styles similar to that of the Paris Metro, Moscow Metro, Pyongyang Metro and the Berlin U-Bahn.
At the time, however, Axton believed more in form-follows-function, opting for simpler, modern, design without the ornate details, and also preferred using iron door based platform screen doors. His descriptions of his plans for an ideal system led to disagreements between the two, and SilverWolv instead allowed a concession for the creation of a second rail network in competition with the metro network.
Initial Development
The entire metro system was developed in stages, the first being the span of track from Palais De Royal to Nation of the Metro Line 1. Opened to the public on 19th January 2014, this 2 kilometre span of track was prioritised by to be built, as the line could take many government workers to and fro important buildings such as Palais De Royal, and the City Hall.
The network now
As of 2018, TransHaven, the Department of Transportation, and many architectural companies have worked hand in hand to create over 30 kilometres of track, over 45 metro stations, and 11 metro lines.

Facilities, Services, and Amenities
Comprising of sections of track that are elevated, underground, sub-surface, and at-grade level, the WolvHaven Metro has over 20 kilometres of track, that connect the citizens of WolvHaven to each other, whilst bringing them wonderful views during their journey. All underground metro stations built before the year 2016 are all equipped to be converted into bomb shelters, in case of a conventional aerial bomb attack. All underground stations are fully equipped to blast cool air through their state of the art air conditioning, while other sub-surface, at-grade, and elevated metro stations are equipped with air dehumidifiers, ceiling fans, and occasionally, blast fans. As a part of a campaign to bring the WolvHaven Metro to the 21st Century and beyond, USB ports and AC power plugs and sockets with international compatibility were installed in most stations. Alongside that, 3G and 4G service are available in every part of the metro system.
Every station is equipped with a first of its kind ticketing system, ticketing machines, a Passenger Service centre, LED or plasma displays that show train service information and announcements. Most metro stations have been fitted with important facilities and amenities such as male, female, and disabled restrooms, payphones, convenience stores, and automatic teller machines. Each station is usually accompanied by a bus stop.
Most metro stations built during the first era of the fourth incarnation of WolvHaven are not equipped with |step-free facilities, such as wider Metro+ faregates , ramps & tactile guidance systems for the elderly and disabled, and tactile paving, thus preventing disabled persons from having convenient access to these trains, and instead have to rely on alternate forms of transportation. Despite the controversy, the government does not intend to equip such stations with step free facilities, as the price of such rehabilitation works could cost up to billions of taxpayer money. However, as of 2018, all metro lines, with the exception of Metro Line 1, have been retrofitted with step-free access for the elderly and disabled, although works are still ongoing to provide metro stations with additional step-free facilities.
Hours of operation
The WolvHaven Metro operates 24 hours daily, with monthly maintenance checks on each line, leaving metro services shut down for a complete day, monthly. However, during moments of extremely low TPS on the server, all automatic metro lines are to be shut down, with commuters being left with three options: commuting via bus, riding the BERT, or on manual metro lines.

Architecture
The WolvHaven Metro is one of WolvHaven's architectural Treasures. Featuring grand, magnificent and spacious stations (such as City Hall and Palais De Royal), the WolvHaven Metro is one of the architectural achievements of the city. The design of the stations follow closely to the stations of the Pyongyang and Moscow Metro as they are grand, large, spacious and open.

Each station is different in the WolvHaven Metro. The stations are designed by SilverWolv with the help of Green_Adventurer and TheSitherin for the interiors. This gives server citizens opportunities to contribute something to the city and help out as there are usually a lack of opportunities for which users can join the project and help out.
