Ministry for Infrastructure and National Development is a ministry of the WolvHaven Federal Government charged with the responsibility of managing infrastructure and national development policies. Before 16 April 2020, the ministry was called Ministry for Infrastructure

History

This ministry was formed on 5 May 2018 as the Ministry for Infrastructure after the FWH-DEM Coalition elected as Government of WolvHaven. After the passing of the Ministry for Infrastructure Bill, the ministry is given powers to perform contracting on behalf of the Government. The ministry was renamed to Ministry for Infrastructure and National Development on 16 April 2020.

Responsibilities

The ministry is responsible for the process of awarding contracts and bidding more efficient and easy, to ensure that all future projects within the server are well planned and reasonable, to ensure that the projects assigned are executed up to standard. The ministry is also responsible for planning all major government infrastructure projects, awarding contracts to contractors, extending deadlines and the details of contracts and award fines to contractors and reduce their agreed payment. They also plan infrastructure on a public level, review infrastructure requests (inter-claim railways), review & approve proposals, regulate train examiners and operators and check on public housing applications.

Powers

1. Plan all major government infrastructure projects

• The ministry will be in charge of drafting up concrete plans.
• All completed plans must gain approval from the Minister of Infrastructure and National Development before they are released to the public.

• Contracts will be accepted on the approval of the Minister of Infrastructure and National Development

2. Award fines to contractors and reduce their agreed payment.

The Minister for Infrastructure and National Development is the head of the Ministry for Infrastructure and National Development. Before the renaming of the Ministry, the position was called the Minister for Infrastructure
